The Victron VE.Bus BMS is a battery management system that was designed to manage lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries. While LiFePO4 batteries are exceptionally durable and are integrated with balancing, temperature and voltage control (BTV), it is still vital to protect each of their battery cell from over voltage, under voltage and high temperature, to ensure that they have long service life.
This Victron VE.Bus BMS Battery Management System is designed to shut down the loads in case of imminent cell under voltage. It will also reduce charge current in the event of impending cell over charge or if the temperature is going over the operating temperature. In the event of cell overvoltage and over temperature, this solar power equipment for Victron LiFePO4 batteries will also disconnect the loads.
The VE.Bus BMS is compatible with 12, 24 or 48 volts systems. It can also communicate perfectly with different VE.Bus products such as MultiPlus, Quattro or Phoenix inverter with RJ45 cable. This battery management system can be connected to the LiFePO4 batteries via M8 circular connector cord sets and some BTV’s of several solar power batteries can be daisy chained.
