Smart BatteryProtect 12/24V-220A

Product Description

The Victron Smart BatteryProtect 12/24V-220A disconnects non-essential loads from the battery before it is completely discharged, so as to prevent damage. This battery protection device will also disconnect non-essential loads before the battery has insufficient amount of power left to crank the engine. The on/off input of Smart BatteryProtect models can be utilised as a system on/off switch.

Victron Energy’s Smart BatteryProtect 12/24V-220A offers east programming via Bluetooth technology. When using Bluetooth to program the Smart BatteryProtect any required engage/disengage levels can be set. Alternatively, one of nine predefined engage/disengage levels can be set with the programming pin. If required, Bluetooth can be easily disabled.

The Smart BatteryProtect 12/24V-220A also has a special setting for Lithium Iron batteries, which allows the unit to be controlled by the VE.BUS Battery Management System. This battery protection device also has ultra-low current consumption, which is vital in case of Li-ion batteries, especially after low voltage shutdown. It also offers over voltage protection to prevent damage to sensitive loads. The loads are disconnected once the DC voltage exceeds 16.3V respectively 32.6V.
