Product Description
The Inverter RS 48/6000 230V Smart Solar is a 48V 6kVA solar inverter with 450VDC 4kWp PV input from Victron Energy that can be used in off-grid solar applications that require AC power. It combines the Victron Energy’s inverter, bi-directional DC-Dc converter and MPPT technology.
The Inverter RS 48/6000 230V Smart Solar produces a perfect sine wave, able to supply high powered appliances. It is supplied by a bi-directional DC-DC converter, that can either charge the battery when excess solar power is available or convert from the battery when it is needed.
This smart solar inverter from Victron Energy offers wide MPPT voltage range – from 80 to 450 VDC, with 120 VDC PV start up voltage. This powerful converter weighs around 11 kilograms and has excellent efficiency, low standby power, and an incredibly quiet operation.
The Inverter RS 48/6000 230V Smart Solar comes with built-in display and Bluetooth technology. The display provides parameters for the battery, inverter, and solar charger controller. By connecting the device with a smartphone, tablet or any Bluetooth enabled device, the same parameters can be accessed. Using VictronConnect, users can also set up the system or reconfigure the smart solar inverter via Bluetooth connection.
This smart solar inverter also features VE.Can and VE.Direct ports so it can be connected to a GX device in order to monitor, log data and do remote firmware updates. With its built-in PV isolator, both parallel PV strings connected to the MC4 plugs can be safely isolated with the large built-in switch on the bottom of the unit.
Furthermore, the Inverter RS 48/6000 230V Smart Solar also features Input/Output connections. It offers programmable Relay, temperature sensor and voltage sensor connections. The remote input can also be configured to accept the Victron miniBMS.
