The Victron Blue Smart IP65 Charger 24/8(1) 230V AU/NZ Retail 230V AU/NZ Retail is a professional battery charger included in the Blue Smart IP65 Charger series by Victron Energy. It was designed to provide accurate amount of power to the battery, as well as maintain its health, improve its performance and lengthen its service life. This solar power equipment comes with a built-in Bluetooth and is water, dust, and chemical resistant. It’s suitable for use in devices in workshops and on motor vehicles including cars, motorcycles, camper vans, boats, etc.
The Blue Smart IP65 Charger 24/8(1) 230V AU/NZ Retail offers 95% efficiency. This battery charger from Victron Energy produces up to 4 times less heat compared to industry standard and causes lower thermal stress on electronic components. It also features overheating protection as it reduces the output current in case the temperature reaches 60°C; however, the charger will not fail.
The Blue Smart IP65 Charger 24/8(1) 230V AU/NZ Retail reduces power consumption to 0.5 Watts once the battery is fully charged, which is about 5 to 10 times better than the industry standard. Like other chargers in the Blue Smart IP65 series, it is totally silent since it has no cooling fan and other moving parts.
The Blue Smart IP65 Charger 24/8(1) 230V AU/NZ Retail is fairly easy to set up. It can also be setup, readout and configured on your smartphone. You can easily find out the status of your charger and battery. You can even control the functions of this charger using the VictronConnect mobile app. The current and voltage readout of the charger will be available on the smartphone screen as a default.
