25A Buck-Boost DC/DC converter

Product Description

The Victron 25A Buck-Boost DC/DC Converter is an electromechanical device designed for charging a 12V or 24V service battery in vehicles with a smart alternator. The converter will charge the auxiliary battery with a pre-set charge voltage, eliminating high voltages (e.g. Mercedes: 15,4V) and low voltages.

Victron Energy’s 25A Buck-Boost DC/DC Converter is also equipped with ‘Engine Running’ detection system that prevents deep discharge of the starting battery of the vehicle. This device if fully programmable and can be activated by means of an input D+, CAN bus or (+) connection. Users will need a USB type A male to USB type B male cable to program the device. It also has a PC application that makes it quite simple and user-friendly.

The Victron 25A Buck-Boost DC/DC Converter can be programmed to charge a 12V or 24V auxiliary battery from either a 12V or 24V alternator and starter battery. It comes with charge current and input current limiter which is determined by the following factors: the maximum charge current setting, maximum input current setting and maximum operating temperature limit of the converter.
